i always thought that hindu's are the most liberal and probably the most tolerant of the people in india.This is no longer  my opinion .
India houses 1 billion people out of which nearly 80% share hinduism as a religion a religion which i do share . Nowhere i think had there been a mention of forcing people to take up a particular(hinduism) religion because some fanatic,illmannered and  intolerant (hindu)-often more in number and strength (maybe) wants .But sadly people whom i should address as my brothers and sisters are indulging in these unmindfull and discriminatory acts.In southern reaches of my country as i am informed till date,it is very painfull to discover that christians are being discriminated against,that they are being forced to give up their religion and adopt hinduism in turn and voilence is being adopted as a tool.This misanthropic view regarding christians is in no way justifiable.
How can one use force to inculcate FAITH ?? How can one justify the killing of innocent ,unarmed people?
None of hindu scriptures talk about forcefull conversions.Instead they talk about a discipline,a way of leading purposefull life.They talk of taking a stand for truth,they talk of helping people and they talk of endless things that are mostly there in every religion.
Instead of using force ,instead of practising hatredism we should indulge in making our religion more appealing and i think there are very many ways to do so.Let us be democratic enough to allow people practise freedom of religion.Let us be patriotic enough to not to tarnish our nation's image of diversity and non voilence.
